bow wow does a sex scene

Yes in news that has made crumpet throw up in our mouths a little, Bow Wow has shot his first sex scene for an episode of Entourage. Although we will admit the fact it was with a porn actress amuses us. Of the scene Bow Wow offers;
“It was with a porn star. I don’t know her name,” Bow Wow revealed to MTV. “She probably watching this like, ‘What?! I did a scene with him, and he doesn’t remember my name?!’ Nah, I don’t remember her name, but she was bad though. She was baaaaad.”
In news that did however brighten our day Bow Wow is soon to bow – pun intended – out of the music scene.
“After the eighth album, I’m done,” Bow Wow told MTV. “I already feel it. I love acting. I love my music like I said, but I feel it. After this one, probably one more in me and that’s eight. Like, I’m one [album] behind Nas, and that’s crazy.”
new tribe album will never happen

With A Tribe Called Quest (finally) reforming to headline the Rock The Bells festival this year the obvious next question posed is, when can we expect the new album? The trip however have been quick to dead any talk of that.
“It will never, ever happen. We don’t want to be one of those groups that comes back 15 years later and puts out an album that’s not that good. It’s why the Beatles never got back together,” states Q-Tip.
Although disappointing it’s good to see a classic group happy to rest on their laurels rather than chase dollars. Now can we please get a tour, preferably without overpriced tickets!

Brooklyn stand up, Ruck and Rock have reunited to drop one of the most anticipated releases in recent memory. In the mid 90s Brooklyn was running shit and the Boot Camp Clik were leading the pack, the charismatic duo of Ruck and Rock the favourites of many. Ruck has been reborn in recent times as solo artist Sean Price, while the booming baritone of Rock has been battling a series of serious charges. All that is now in the past and the LP will feature production from Marco Polo, Khrysis, Illmind, Black Milk and others. It is safe to say Crumpet is tucking our excitement into our belt.
detox is coming says 50

As Crumpet reads 50′s interview with MTV we can’t help but do so with his mumbled voice resonating through our mind. If for no other reason than comedic value we implore you to do the same.
Of Detox 50 offers;
“I recorded material with Dr. Dre for the Detox,” said 50 to MTV News. “It’s great. I want it back. I want the records back.”
While it is clear he loves working with Dre;
“He has the music. It’s right there in the computer. I stop by [his studio] every time and get something that adds something significant to my project each time [I'm about to put a record out]. And I spend three or four days there. To me, he’s the best producer in the game. When I walk in the studio, I record the first [beat] that comes on regardless if I think it’s a hit record or not,” 50 continued. “We get in work mode, get comfortable and go through the material that’s in the computer. Dre always has hit records. Sometimes, artists that need producers, they need someone to create a direction for them musically. I need the jewels he’s just got laying around. He don’t gotta tell me what to do with it. All he has to do is say, ‘Track six.’ Or, ‘Go to track eight.’ He’ll have hits playing there. You just have to get in and get them.”
Of Detox’s release date he finishes;
“Hopefully he’ll get it done and put it out,” he said. “I’m waiting for the Detox. All I can say is, Dr. Dre is the best producer in my eyes. Just the consistency over the years. … He knows what he wants. He’s such a perfectionist that it becomes difficult for him to put it out.”

Unlike the legacy of Tupac which is raped constantly Biggie is largely left to rest in peace, making the discovery of this album all the more exciting to Crumpet. The O.G. edition features original versions prior to sample clearance issues as well as alternate beats to some classic tracks. Rounding the package out, like the diet coke that goes with your diet meal of deep fried mars bar and cake are some unreleased tracks and freestyles.

Fuck posthumous Tupac releases, there I’ve said it. Seriously this shit is beyond a joke, it’s like locking the nerdy kid in the port-a-loo, pushing it over and then rolling him around in the shit, past funny, just sad. We get it Afeni, that’s Pac’s mother who handles his affairs for the uninformed, you are clearly money hungry. Year after year we get slapped around with the offensiveness that is another fucking Tupac double album. Sure Tupac influenced a lot of people as an artist, but fucking hell a third rate recording of him from a park aged 17, over beats from some producer he never would’ve worked with and nobody cares about should never make the light of day. Sure Afeni was a Black Panther, but I bet even the leaders of that movement are sitting back thinking, “Damn, she ruthless.” Put down whatever material you have left and burn that shit, let the dead rest before your second rate musical releases do damage to anymore ears, somebody think of the children!

mos def links with undrcrwn

Crumpet favourite Undrcrwn have done, done it again linking with the mighty Mos Def for these exclusive “The Watermelon Syndicate” tees. The designs an exclusive to partner Mos’s performance at New York’s iconic Carnegie Hall. We at Crumpet like Mos so much we are even willing to forgive the hot pink colour highlights, for the moment anyway. No official release date has been announced yet so keep your eyes peeled for an official announcement.
aesop rock and adidas join forces

Hell fucking yes says Crumpet, one of the most innovative emcees doing their thing in the US Aesop Rock has teamed with Adidas for this fresh as a ripped from the ground carrot Stan Smith collaboration. Aesop designed the colourway himself saying;
“The faded green and gold colors have a strange eerie-meets-regal vibe that I liked when designing the art for last year’s None Shall Pass album. I wanted to continue that color scheme, and keep it pretty simple. I didn’t want anything too intrusive. Basically I just wanted something that I’d rock, and my mother might even wear them”
With only 500 pairs released worldwide cop them today or risk a second house mortgage getting them down the track.
