Notorious B.I.G, The - Business Instead Of Game: Secrets From The Coffin, $14.95, Central Station
Mar 9 1997 was a poignant day on the hip hop calendar. It was the day Biggie (Christopher George Latore Wallace to his mum, B.I.G to his friends) was murdered. It still is a poignant day. Slightly touching on the continuous east versus west coast rap beef and Tupac Shakur, the DVD celebrates Biggie via an in-depth look at his rise to fame, rare footage of him on a talk show, in concert and on the street freestyling. A must-see for any Biggie fan.

Tha Alkaholiks Live From Rehab, $19.95, Shock
LA hip hop trio The Alkaholiks - fondly referred to as The Liks - are back this time in the form of a DVD. It’s been a couple of years since their intense live show at The German Club in Adelaide, so if you missed out then check them coming live from rehab. The DVD features the group on stage in LA for a reunion show, as the band broke up after Firewater. Members of the Likwit crew (King T. Xzibit, Defari and Heltah Skeltah) come to the stage where they all perform classics such as Hip Hop Drunkies, Daaamn, Party Ya Ass Off and Make Room in true Liks style - upbeat, hedonistic-themed party music with a hardcore hip hop twist. As a bonus, peep the interviews with The Liks, Bun B and Kutmasta Kurt.
