banksy on the grind again
Bristol graffiti artist Banksy has opted to work in New Orleans for his most recent murals. Over 12 murals illustrating Abraham Lincoln as a homeless man, a girl under an umbrella, a marching band with gas masks and a boy flying a kite fridge; all to coincide with Hurricane Katrina’s third anniversary. Banksy has been quoted as saying, “Three years after Katrina I wanted to make a statement about the state of the clean up operation.” Peep his brilliance here. www.banksy.co.uk
