I had the pleasure to attend the recent 20 year anniversary tour of De La Soul’s “Three Feet High and Rising” album release and boy did they deliver. A group that has been around for 20 years, inspiring generation after generation can be easily described with words such as timeless and inimitable, De La Soul is definitely part of the hip hop hall of fame. The so called “brotha from anotha planet” Ras G, hailing from the Brainfeeder LA collective which includes among others Flying Lotus, the mother fucking Gaslamp Killer and Samiyam.
