Want a chance to showcase your skills and rock with The Legendary Roots crew? Well here is your chance, thanks to Indaba’s The Roots “Criminal Remix” contest. You have until November 12th to submit your round one remix to The Roots‘ “Criminal” off of their latest album Rising Down. Provided are separate tracks from the song including bass, drums, keys, guitar, and vocal, so you can really get busy (no pun intended). The Top 25 finalists from round 1 will receive autographed copies of Rising Down and move on to Round 2 where they will have another week to remix a second track by The Roots. The winner of round 2 (as selected by Black Thought, ?uestlove and Indaba resident Mantis Evar) will have an opportunity to record an original song with members of The Roots. Hit up Indaba for further details and to get the stems and go to work.
