Tagging has just leaped into a whole new digital level with the aid of a few simple tech bits and Graffiti Analysis software. Taggers have the ability to extend the tag into 3D representations on screen. SEEN, TWIST, AMAZE, KETONE, JONONE, and KATSU had their tags motion captured and analysed by this Graffiti Analysis software capturing everything from unique lines from fat to skinny and even the energy that goes into each scribble represented by what looks like a tag thats been written in digital sand. L.A.S.E.R tag originated as a progressive thesis project beginning in 2004 by artist and researcher Evan Roth, who’s interests and work embody technology, tools of empowerment, open source and popular culture.
